Speech Pathologist

Amy is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist. Amy has a strong interest in the areas of speech, language, literacy and social communication. She applies a strength based and family centred approach to assessment and intervention. Amy values the importance of building strong relationships with families and children and collaborating closely with those in the child’s community, including education and support staff. Amy strives to provide efficient and evidence-based services that incorporate the child’s interests.

Amy has experience working with children with speech and language delays in both early intervention and school settings. Amy has experience in the assessment and intervention of speech & articulation, receptive & expressive language and social skills.

Amy is trained in:

• Hanen ‘More Than Words®’ program

She is undertaking training in:

• Sounds Write, an explicit, phonics program for struggling readers and spellers of all ages and ability.
• Zones of Regulation/Alert program
