Speech Pathologists / Director

Mary has a long history of providing speech pathology services in Northern and Western suburbs of Melbourne. During this time Mary has become well known as a highly experienced, thoughtful and passionate practitioner. She is sought after for her skills in assessment, diagnosis and therapy. Mary has specialised in early communication challenges, stuttering and ASD. Mary enjoys working across age ranges and attends regular professional development to keep her skills updated.

Mary is pleased to be able to provide a high quality supervision and internal professional development to the team with the aim of developing a team of highly skilled practitioners.

Mary has been thrilled to open her own clinic able to offer clients a family centred, well resourced space to build their children’s capacities. The clinic has a range of rooms from smaller therapy rooms to larger gym style rooms with swing, ladders and soft play equipment. Prior to this Mary operated her business by leasing rooms at Western Children’s Health Centre in Altona Meadows.

She is passionate about advocating for her clients in childcare, kindergarten and school settings. Having worked previously for the Department of Education Mary has knowledge of how school funding works and how to support families to advocate for their child at school.

Mary has undertaken several professional development sessions when the social thinking team has visited Australia. She is trained in We Thinkers, Social Detective and SuperFlex. She has undertaken additional workshops to support children with high functioning ASD in social and school settings.
